The UK Chair for the British-Italian Partnership Programme

Professor Julia Goodfellow CBE, has accepted the British Council's invitation to become the UK Chair of the British-Italian Partnership Programme. She is currently Vice-Chancellor of the University of Kent, the UK's European university, with a strong research ethos and international focus. Professor Goodfellow's research was in structural biology having studied physics as an undergraduate. Prior to coming to the university, she spent five years as Chief Executive of the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council.
