Information for State school Teachers
The Ministry of Education, Universities and Scientific Research with Ministeriale Decree no. 249 of 10/09/2010, has indicated as an essential requirement of initial teacher training for teachers of pre-school, primary school, and secondary school grades 1 and 2 the acquisition of the linguistic competencies for the English language for level B2 of the Common European Framework, adopted in 1996 by the Council of Europe. Level B2 is furthermore considered by the MUIR as an essential requirement for entry to courses of CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning), according to D.D.P.R. n. 87/2010, 88/2010 e 89/2010 “Riforma della Scuola Secondaria di II grado”.

SEMI-INTENSIVE 90 HOUR COURSES
Semi-intensive general English Courses A2, B1 and B2.1
For students who need to learn quickly, this course enables you to do a complete level in a few months.

Time: 10.00 - 12.50 or
          18.10 - 21.00
Days: Tuesday and
          Thursday
Dates: 31 Janurary - 30 May Study: 6 hours a week

SEMI-INTENSIVE 90 HOUR EXAM COURSES
Semi-intensive general English and preparation courses Cambridge First (FCE) and Advanced (CAE)
For students who need to learn quickly,and take the Cambridge exam (FCE) or (CAE) before the end of June 2013

Time: 10.00 - 12.50 or
          18.10 - 21.00
Days: Tuesday and
          Thursday
Dates: 31 January - 30 May Study: 6 hours a week

Computer Based Cambridge First 30 hour course
First Certificate exam course leading to B2 Certification
This course will help you to prepare for the exam by giving you advice on the strategies needed for all the different papers and task types. The course will be conducted in English. You need a high B2 level to do this course and must take an entrance test beforehand.

Time: 10.00 - 12.50 Days: Monday and
          Wednesday
Dates: 30 January - 06  March or            10 April - 05 June Study: 3 hours a week

Communication skills 22.5 hour course
For Upper Intermedaiate B2.1/B2.2 and Advanced level learners C1/C2
The Communication Skills course offers a wide range of activities geared towards the development and consolidation of oral communication skills. The focus is on the development of practical, everyday language as well as on vocabulary, pronunciation and listening.

Time: 18.10 - 19.30 Day: Monday
Dates: 04 February - 03 June Study: 1 hour 20 min a week

Legal English 45 hour course
For both practising lawyers as well as law students.
Helps language learners use English in a commercial law environment, by developing the four skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking. The course focuses on a variety of legal arguments including contracts, company formation, debtor-creditor relationships and intellectual property rights.

Time: 13.00 - 14.30 Days: Tuesday and
          Thursday
Dates: 14 February - 07 June Study: 3 hours a week
