New Young Europeans

"Europe means human rights. Europe means multi-culturalism. Europe means opportunity. Europe means a positive use of power. Europe means giving people a chance"
Zahra Maalow, from Somalia now residening in London

New Young Europeans is a British Council exhibition highlighting the dreams and aspirations of young people in Europe today, regardless of their background. The images and testimonials of the young people portrayed have formed the basis of various initiatives, events and discussion groups which have attracted large audiences and wide media attention. The exhibition visited Rome in May 2004 and was hosted at the the Istituto Tecnico industriale Statale Galileo Galilei.
