ENROLMENTS CLOSE 14 DAYS BEFORE THE TEST DATE

   VENUE
All candidates will receive an email with all details about the test venue at least 7 days before the test.

   TIME
The test starts at 9.00 am but candidates should arrive at the venue by 8.00am.
Please note that oral exam could be on a different day or in the late afternoon.

The number of places for each test date is limited; candidates are therefore invited to enrol sufficiently in advance of the desired session by completing the enrolment form and paying the enrolment fee of € 199 from at least 14 days prior to the exam date*.

Alternatively you can enrol in person through our Registration Office (via San Sebastianello 16, Rome) or send the application form by email to ielts.rome@britishcouncil.it attaching a photo and a copy of your ID.

You can pay for your exam by credit card on-line (no postepay), or by credit card via phone (+39 06 4781 4222), in person by cheque, credit card, debit card or cash.

In order to enrol, candidates need to do the following:

• complete the application form on paper (pdf) or online.
• provide two passport sized picture (less than 6 months old, in the photograph candidate must not wear glasses )
• present a valid identity card/passport (you can scan and send it by email at least 7 days prior to the exam date)at the time of the enrolment and on the exam day.

It is possible to transfer the enrolment from one exam session to another one within the same financial year (transfers only from April to March of the following year) by notifying the Exam Office via email at least 14 days prior to the exam date.

SPECIAL NEEDS
If you have a disability or condition which might require special arrangements, you should discuss it with our test centre as soon as possible. Each case is considered individually and you will need a medical certificate. Test centres need three months to put arrangements into place

Your results will be ready only 13 days after the exam. One copy of the certificate (Test Report Form) will be sent by first class post to the candidate's home address or - upon request - it can be collected at the British Council. Candidate may ask for up to 5 extra copies of the certificate within two years from the day of the exam, which will be sent directly to the universities/institutions chosen. Candidates may apply for an enquiry on results procedure at the centre at which they took their test within 6 weeks from the date of the exam. The candidate's test material is re-marked and it costs € 90. This fee is refunded should the band score be increased.
