Studying in  London [in 1996], thanks to a Chevening Scholarship managed at that time by the British Council, enabled me to widen my horizons, both personally ( I actually met my future wife wile studying in London...) and professionally. The LLM degree I took also allowed me to become a Solicitor, so I am now qualified to practice law both in Italy, England and Wales, which professionally has been an invaluable advantage. In today's global business environment it is absolutely essential to have international study and work experience and I greatly recommend the British Council for its professionalism and continued support which it gives to past and present students.
