BACK TO COURSES FOR ADULTS
GENERAL ENGLISH

General English meets the needs of adult students at all levels who are improving their overall level of English for work, study or personal interest.

It’s our most popular and comprehensive course and is packed with speaking activities to help you communicate, develop your grammar and vocabulary and focus on pronunciation. Listening and reading is integrated into the lessons and your teacher will select motivating multimedia materials. You will develop practical writing skills through interactive tasks in class and for homework.

You can supplement the core classroom programme with free Speaking Clubs and Resource Centre membership.

Each lesson has a language aim and your teacher monitors progress and gives regular tests to show your progress. Individual counselling gives you guidance to make progress in and out of class. If you miss a lesson you can contact our catch up service

The Annual programme runs from October to June. There is only one entry point, in October. The Modular programme has three entry points in October, February and June. It consists of the same 90 hours of content but you decide to buy the course in two modules of 45 hours.
