HOW TO ENROL
Primary and Junior
Primary: 1 & 2 elementare; Junior: 3, 4 and 5 elementare

We offer high quality English courses in various locations in Milan:

  • Via Manzoni 38,
  • Corso Magenta 71 (at Collegio San Carlo),
  • Via Tonale 19 (at Salesiani)
  • and, from October 2012, also in Via Bonvesin de la Riva 12, Corso XXII Marzo area (at Istituto Maria Ausiliatrice)

There will be a syllabus based on a carefully chosen book for your child’s level and age. Teachers will also make use of authentic storybooks, drama and craft activities, songs and games and interactive computer programmes and web sites.

We focus on developing speaking and listening skills.

Primary students are introduced to writing through whole word recognition, matching pictures and words and through the words of songs and rhymes.

While we still emphasise listening and speaking skills, in Junior classes we also spend more time developing reading and writing and begin to study a small amount of grammar. We place special emphasis on expanding vocabulary and developing fluency and comprehension. Students will work individually, in pairs, in small and larger groups and as a whole class.

By the end of the year, students should be able to produce and write the language studied in the chosen topic areas.
