English courses for adults

We offer a wide range of courses to meet your needs whether for academic purposes, to improve your career prospects or simply for the pleasure of learning.

Our courses of English for adults are in via Manzoni 38, in via Darwin 20, at NABA (Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti), on the Naviglio Pavese, between Corso San Gottardo and the metro station Romolo and in Corso Magenta 71, at the Collegio San Carlo.

General English
Courses at all levels to improve speaking, listening, writing and reading. with a strong focus on communication.
FCE, CAE and CPE preparation  - annual courses

Annual courses, October to June, to prepare for the First Certificate, CAE or CPE exams.

FCE and CAE preparation - October to February

Fifteen week courses to prepare for the First Certificate or CAE exams.

FCE and CAE preparation - October to December
Short courses, October to December, to prepare for the First Certificate or CAE exams.
BEC preparation courses

October to February courses to prepare for the BEC exams (Preliminary, Vantage and Higher).

Business Skills

Annual courses to improve Business English communication skills.

Legal English

October to February, or February to June, courses to improve your Legal English skills and, optional, to prepare for the ILEC exam.

IELTS preparation

30 or 45 hour courses to prepare for the IELTS exam.

Communication Skills - NEW!

October to February courses to improve your communication skills also in the months of December and January. With particular attention to accuracy and fluency. Class activities of listening, conversation and improving vocabulary.

Intensive courses

Two week courses to improve oral skills.

Translation

Annual course, once a week, to study and practise the theory of translation.

Literature

Annual courses, October to June, to discover some of the well known British authors.

English and the Arts

Annual course to have an overall view of British art over the last 200 years.

Annual course to improve your English through cinema.
