Teaching Centre Regulations
Course Fee
- You can make payments in cash, by cheque, bancomat, credit card and credit card via telephone (Visa and Mastercard). If you are paying by cheque, please make it out to the British Council, for the exact amount, as we cannot give change.
- The first instalment must be paid before the course begins
- Course fees must be paid within the deadlines set out in the British Council brochure. If this is difficult for any reason, please let us know and we will make arrangements to secure your place as we await payment, otherwise we reserve the right to offer your place to another student.
- If for any reason you wish to stop attending your course, please let the Registration Office know as soon as possible. This ensures we don’t send you payment requests for unpaid instalments.
Receipts
- A receipt will be given for each payment made, at the moment of the payment.
- The name on the receipt will be that of the student enrolled on the course.
- If a student’s course is being paid for by a company or organisation, then the receipt can be made out in the name of that company or organisation. In this case however we will need a letter stating that the company will pay for the course. Such a request must be made to the enrolment office before payment is made, because once issued, a receipt cannot be re-issued with a different name for the same payment
Refunds
- Unfortunately we are unable to offer refunds or credits except in the case of courses we cancel, or in the case of 90+90hrs pre-payments, where the student does not pass the test to the next level. (See brochure for payment plan details).
Enrolment Fee
- The enrolment fee is valid for the entire academic year from September to July. Unfortunately the enrolment fee is not refundable or transferable. For those who enrol on summer intensive courses (in June, July or September), the enrolment fee is valid for the following academic year, from October to June, but not for summer courses after that.
- The enrolment fee cannot be considered part payment for lessons not paid for, even if payment is not received within the deadlines stipulated.
Reductions
- A discount of €100 will be given to a third member of the same family who enrols in the same academic year.
