ILEC EXAM: INFORMATION AND ENROLMENT
Legal English

Legal English is for lawyers, trainees, paralegals and Law students. It develops the language and communication skills you need to use Legal English effectively in a professional environment and will give you greater confidence when interacting with clients, regardless of your area of specialisation.

Your teacher will guide you through relevant case studies that allow you to apply your legal expertise and experience in an English language context. You will improve all the skills you need to manage or participate in meetings, write accurate and appropriate e-mails or reports and communicate effectively with clients on the phone. By the end of the course you will be more confident in dealing with clients and colleagues in Legal situations.

We also offer courses in preparation for the International Legal English Certificate (Cambridge ILEC exam), at an equivalent level to B2 and C1 level.

Our made to measure offer includes:

  • Advanced Legal English
  • ILEC Preparation

“The courses organised by the British Council in our offices have been a great success in so far as they focus on the specific needs of the course participants and are structured flexibly to work around the demands of our work.”
