ENGLISH FOR WORK

English for work is for learners at an intermediate or pre-intermediate level who need to improve their overall level of English specifically for the workplace. Practical speaking activities will help you interact with clients and colleagues more effectively. You will develop your grammar and learn words and phrases you can use immediately. You will develop your listening and writing skills through realistic work related tasks.

Each lesson has a language aim and your teacher monitors progress and gives regular tests to show your progress. Individual counselling gives you guidance to make progress in and out of class. If you miss a lesson you can contact our catch up service.

Attendance: one three hours lesson per week.

• Two instalments € 590 (at enrolment) and € 380 (by end March ) – total € 970 (€50 extra)

BUSINESS SKILLS

Business Skills is for learners at an upper-intermediate or advanced level who need to improve communication skills specifically for the workplace

Realistic business situations and practical activities will help you improve your skills in writing e-mails, managing phone conversations and taking part in meetings, discussions and presentations. You will work on accuracy and fluency and gain confidence to interact with clients and colleagues more effectively in an international environment.  

You will also look at the key principles of effective communication and how your individual communication style can affect the success of business interaction. Each lesson has a language and communication aim and your teacher will monitor your progress and give you regular feedback.

Attendance: one hour and twenty minutes lesson per week.
