A DIFFERENT LANGUAGE

A Different Language is a before-love story, set in a world of internet chat-rooms, life-coaches and easyJet. It’s supposed to be easier than ever to communicate with anyone anywhere in the world. But somehow it doesn’t always feel that way. Suspect Culture’s new show follows two solitary people, one Italian, one British, as they search for that one perfect person who will be their soul mate.

A Different Language is performed in English and Italian; this production brings together a team of Italian and British artists, including Italian screen actor Sergio Romano, Selina Boyack and playwright Renato Gabrielli, recent winner of a Herald Angel award for A Mobile Thriller at Edinburgh Festival 2004.
