MilanOltre Festival 2007 presents two of the most surprising and inventive choreographers of the moment: Hofesh Schechter and Raphael Bonachela.

Award winning Israeli choreographer Hofesh Shechter, is a promising member of the British dance scene, a highly talented and creative choreographer. Delivering a supremely physical dance, embraced by elegant stage compositions and charged with engaging ideas and an overall gripping atmosphere. His work deGENERATION, is a trio of pieces:
Cult, a powerful experience that reveals a dark, ironic view of the powers that steer our society and ourselves.
Fragments, a duet, presents an insight into a couple's life inside the 'noise' of culture.
Uprising, (Shechter's latest creation commissioned by the Robin Howard Foundation) is the third piece, where seven men are pushed to the limit in a work inspired by hope in the shadow of despair.
Shechter is a true original. - The Guardian

Spanish-born Bonachela describes himself as a 'movement junkie' and the exploration and experimentation of pure movement is his motivation. In addition to his own movement vocabulary, he finds inspiration in the visual arts and popular culture, which gives his work a distinctive style. A choreographer committed to innovation, he is one of the most intriguing and inventive choreographers working in Britain today, moving seamlessly between the mainstream and avant garde dance worlds.
At MilanOltre festival he will presents his works:
Ahotsak, a sextet performed to Luciano Berio's Naturale for viola, percussion and solo voice.
Set Boundaries, a extet with music by Matthew Herbert and Pete Wright, with video projections by Lenka Clayton.
E2 7SD The Place Prize award-winning duet conceived as a performance and sound sculpture of an emotionally charged landscape.
Irony of Fate. a solo, accompanied by a violinist performing music by Vytautas Barkauskas.
'Bonachela is too interesting a dance maker to content himself with one idea. - The Guardian
