Julian Cole directed Derek Jarman as Pasolini in Ostia, which covers the Italian film director's fatal encounter with a youth and their journey to Ostia.
The film (1987, 26 min.) which is an imagined reconstruction of the events leading to the murder of Pier Paolo Pasolini, the inevitability of which he himself had perhaps foreseen, is part of Imputato Pasolini, a day-long programme of events dedicated to Pasolini to mark the 30th anniversary of his death.
