FOUR TET, STEVE REID, ADDICTIVE TV

The combination is a winning one. Kieran Hebden, in art Four Tet, and Steve Reid are unresolved geniuses. Their sound is a concentration of indie-post rock, jazz and electronic. Whoever has seen their performances can confirm their eclecticism and sounds that are often completely free in form, at times melodious and atmospheric, at times impetuous and delirious as in the best tradition of hardcore.Four Tet is an excellent instrumentalist and has been developing a musical discourse that is without rules or patterns, creating his own personal sound dimension consisting of downbeat, broken breaks, 1960s jazz and organic sounds. He is considered as the founder of the "folktronic” genre. Mixing fanciful overseas R&B with kraut rock and English folk rock, the atmospheres is created by a sea of field recordings, acoustic instruments and electronic toys.
For the legendary drummer Steve Reid, experimentation and improvisation are at the centre of music, with a significant role being played also by jazz of the 1960’s and 1970s. An ideal partner for Four Tet, the free drummer is a concentration of genius, technique and unfailing taste.

Addictive TV are presenting in exclusive at Sensoralia its new DVJ audiovisual set. Thanks to the utilisation of the revolutionary DVJ-X1, DVD players that can mix music and images at the same time, the live sets of Addictive TV are an all-absorbing and complete audiovisual experience, as video clips, music and films are characteristically mixed. A continuing and original reassembling of images and music, from breakbeat to rock 'n roll, where it is possible to view virtual encounters/clashes between Blondie and The Doors and between The Sex Pistols and James Bond and to watch never-before seen video remixes involving The Rolling Stones and Dizzy Gillespie... Addictive TV bombs your senses, without, of course, neglecting a liberal dose of English humour!

Four Tet and Steve Reid  will be in Milan, hosted by the fifth edition of successful Eurotribu  Festival.
