Jonathan Burrows and Matteo Fargion, two of the most sophisticated artists of the British scenes, will be at Cango to present the latest creation: Speaking Dance.
This is the last work of the trilogy they made over four years the previous two Both Sitting Duet (2002), Quiet Dance (2005), which continues their gentle exploration into how the relationship between music and dance is percieved, and the fragile but permeable boundaries between the two worlds. Their performances are a formal but humourous meditation on the nature of communication, and the relationship between each other and with the audience.
