The British Council will be running a CELTA course in Turin from Monday June 15 to Friday July 11. Deadline for applications in Monday May 11
This course is intended for those looking for a first qualification in teaching English as a Foreign Language.
The course concentrates on practical aspects of teaching including:
- teaching practice
- analysis of language form, meaning and appropriacy
- techniques for presenting and practising new language
- techniques to develop speaking, listening, reading & writing skills
- using teaching aids
Applicants should have the following requirements:
- be 20 years old by 15 June 2009
- have a good standard of education (2 “A” levels or equiv.)
- have a standard of English equal to that of a native speaker

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to an interview.
Trainees are recommended not to take on any outside commitments during the course due to its intensive nature.
