Hello Valentina! Thank you very much for coming here today to meet Examinations Services staff. How did you learn about our newsletter and about the Christmas quiz?

I saw an information sheet advertising the Newsletter at the British Council centre and I had a go at finding the solution to the quiz. It was not easy but in the end I played around with the letters of the answers and I found out the right solution!!!

How many exams did you take and what was your impression of the Cambridge ESOL Exams?

I took FCE two years ago with the British Council and I am now planning to sit CAE next year. I was particularly impressed by the way the Cambridge exams are administered. In Italy, it is not always easy to find such a good level of organization.

Well done for your achievements!! How are you planning to use your exams and your very good level of English?

Well, I think that the certificates  will be extremely useful for my job since I do not have many opportunities to go to the UK. At the moment I am employed at a tax consultant’s office and the certificates might open up new opportunities for me.

They certainly will….Have you got any suggestion that might help us improve our services?

I am really happy about the English course I am attending at British Council and I am looking forward to the next exam. I wish there would be more opportunities to take part in social activities…I do miss the treasure hunt in particular…that was real fun!!!
