This month’s Cubed offers a slice of nostalgia along with high-tech futurism. We look at the development of a state-of-the-art music studio at the University of Manchester which gives musicians and composers access to some of the most advanced recording and performance technology. We also look at a new mission to the Moon which aims to complete some of the work started by the epic Apollo missions in the 1960s and 1970s. Finally, we look at an extraordinary new computer interface, the Fentix cube, which is a fascinating new digital take on the classic 1980s Rubik’s Cube.
