Scholarships are available for the following one-year taught Masters programmes at the University of Edinburgh:

Awards

The award covers:

Tuition fees
A stipend to cover living costs for one person
Return air fare

Eligibility

The scholarships are open to applicants from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Indonesia, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Palestine (NB Palestinian Arab citizens of Israel are also eligible to apply), Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. Applicants will normally be expected to:

be nationals of, and resident in Israel during the academic year in which they apply for the award; applicants who are temporarily out of the country (for a total period of less than three consecutive months) may be treated as being resident
display intellectual ability and leadership potential
have an excellent knowledge of English
already hold a degree equivalent to (at least) a good UK second-class Honours degree (second class division one)
not already have received or be currently receiving financial benefit from a previous British Government Funded Scholarship
return to their home country at the end of the scholarship period to continue their studies/ work there
not be employees, employees’ relatives (or of former employees who have left employment less than 2 years before) of FCO (including FCO posts), the British Council, the Educational Advising Centres or other OSF-NSP representations in the region or the participating universities
