If you are looking to develop your career prospects and need to obtain a UK qualification, our Centre can provide examination facilities for you. Once you have registered with the institution of your choice, letting them know that you wish to take your exam in Israel, arrangements can be made for you to sit the exam with us.
Many UK universities offer degree courses by distance learning and students can sit their exams at their local British Council. You can search for distance learning courses on the Education UK website.

The University of London External Programme is the oldest distance learning programme in the world, with over 100 courses available in many subjects. The University of London (External) is one of the largest scale distance learning provider with a significant number of Israeli students.

- The Bio Medical Admissions Test is a two hour subject specific admissions test for applicants to medicine, or veterinary medicine courses. The BMAT is a pen and paper test consisting of three sections: Aptitude & Skills – 60 minutes (multiple choice); Scientific Knowledge and Applications – 30 minutes (multiple choice); Writing Task- 30 minutes (Essay question)
– The Thinking Skills Assessment, formerly known as PPE (Philosophy, Politics & Economics or Economics & Management) helps tutors to assess whether candidates have the skills and aptitudes that are required to study PPE or E&M. The exam contains two components: Multiple choice component - problem solving & critical thinking skills – 90 Minutes; Writing task – 30 minutes
- The English Literature Admissions Test is designed to enable applicants to show their ability in the key skill of close reading, paying attention to such elements as language imagery, allusion, syntax form and structure of the passage set for comment. It assesses how far students have developed this understanding and with it the ability to shape and articulate an informed response to unfamiliar literary material. The ELAT is a one section 90 Minute essay comparing two or three items of prose or poetry.

Doctors, dentists, lawyers and other professionals who qualified outside the UK, but intend to work or specialise in Britain, are required to register with the relevant UK professional organisation.
You must check the websites of the relevant professional body to find out where you can sit your exam.
You will also need to take an English language test, the IELTS. You need to find out from the relevant professional organisation in the UK which grade you need to achieve in which exam (IELTS General or IELTS Academic).
