British Shorts Documentary day at the British Film Festival
October 4th

This year we’re combining the third year of the shorts projects with the documentary forum day at the Haifa international film festival To create a whole day dedicated to short British documentaries. 3 British filmmakers will be the guests of the British day- Eva Webber Tabitha Jackson and Sean McAllister, who will share some of their experience with the audience and attend the different panels and discussions with the Israel Documentary Forum and documentaries from the UK about short documentaries.

Day Schedule:

11:30 – 13:00 – British Council Film Collection – from the Archive of the British Council

13:00-14:00 Lunch

14:00 – 16:00 – A Documentary short journey with Eva Webber

16:30 – 17:30 – in discussion with Eva Webber and Sean McAllister (including screenings of a selected 3 short Brit docs

17:30 – 19:00 – a discussion about short documentaries with 3 british guests and The Israeli Documentary Forum, Makor Foundation, Gesher Foundation, Channel 8, Haifa Film Festival, Israeli film maker, Including screenings of a few short films

19:00 – 19:30 – Thanks you’s and goodbye cocktail.

Our Story, Haifa Film Festival

The International Marketing Forum for Narrative Feature Films is a 3-day event hosting professionals from the UK which includes various platforms: Training Workshop for the Presentation of the Project, International Pitching Conference, Master Classes, 1:1 Meetings and Roundtables and Cinemarket: Work in Progress Competition. This year is the 9th OUR STORY Forum which in view of the current Israel UK Co-production Treaty allows co-productions and international collaborations. The British guests in the 9th edition of OUR STORY are: EVAN LIEGHTON DAVIS Producer, founder of Industrial Scripts STUARD HAZELDINE Writer/Director/Producer, EMMA CLARKE Producer at Stellar Productions, formerly at British Council New Cinema Fund and  JANE WRIGHT Formerly head of BBC Films  Project supported by BI Arts.
