Contemporary Music
Tel Aviv’s international festival of contemporary and interdisciplinary music CONTEMPO, included live performances and workshops about their work by British artists Daniel Padden and Adam Bohman in February 2009.

Legendary free improvisation guitarist and painter Keith Rowe made his debut performance in Israel at the MUSRARAMIX Festival  in May 2008.

Performances and workshops by leading UK DJs
Between 2007 and 2009 a series of cutting edge British DJs performed in some of Israel’s leading clubs and conducted professional workshops in music schools.
The programme kicked off in August 2007 with Dubstep DJ MALA, who performed at Hasharon 12 club in Tel Aviv, and continued with a line of parties at the Comfort 13 club which featured The Bug, acclaimed British Hip Hop artist Roots Manuva and DJ MK.  General Levy, one of the UK's most outstanding Reggae MCs featured at a New Year’s Eve Reggae party and legendary UK groups Vibronics and Dreadzone known for their skilful combination of reggae and black music have also performed.
