About the British Council title.
OPENING DOORS - BROADENING HORIZONS

The British Council is the UK's international organisation for educational opportunities and cultural relations with other countries. We believe that cultural relations promote understanding and trust between people of different cultures through the exchange of knowledge and ideas.

We use English language, arts, education and science – the best of the UK’s great cultural assets – to bring people together and build sustainable relationships between people and institutions in the UK and Israel.

If you want to take an exam, develop your English skills, study for a UK qualification, connect with other professionals, experience the best in the arts, or find out more about the latest developments in science and society, we can help you.

We have been in Israel since 1950 and have centres in Ramat Gan, West Jerusalem and Nazareth; our activities take place throughout Israel.

British Embassy in Israel
Whilst the British Council focuses on cultural relations, the British Embassy is the official representatives of the British Government in Israel. They have information about visas and passports, business and the latest news and statements on Britain’s role in the Middle East.
