British Council Ireland and the Health Research Board (HRB)

The British Council is delighted to be collaborating once again with the Health Research Board in hosting a two day scientific writing workshop for postgraduate students and postdoctoral researchers in the biomedical sciences, medicine, dentistry, health services research and other health related disciplines. The purpose of the workshops is to provide training for young Irish researchers in writing reports and papers for medical and life science journals.

The workshop, which is fully subscribed, will be held in Dublin Castle on 10th-12th October 2005. Each workshop will consist of presentations by expert speakers, from the UK and Ireland on day one, and two one-day seminars on ‘Style for reports and papers in medical and life science journals’, presented by Kirkman Communications Consultancy.
