BRITISH COUNCIL SEMINARS
work with us

The British Council works to develop partnerships and networks between Iranian and British individuals, organisations and institutions. In Iran, we work particularly closely in the fields of Education, Arts and Science. If you are interested in working with us, networking, or developing your career and skills, see how we can help you.

EDUCATION
We support the establishment of links between educational institutions in Iran and Britain and can help interested institutions and individuals to establish a connection with the appropriate body in the UK. Contact our colleagues in Education section for more information.

And why not attend a British Council Seminar in the UK, which gives you the opportunity for international networking?

SCIENCE
We work to increase awareness of the creativity of the UK’s scientific achievement and to establish sustainable and mutually beneficial links within the field of science & health. Our principle focus of activity is at the tertiary level, with the nurturing of links between universities and research institutes in Iran and the UK. Postgraduate scholarships, award schemes, seminars and the encouragement of joint research activities are all methods by which we are working to achieve our aims. Contact our Science Projects Manager for further details.

ARTS
We work to forge partnerships in the arts that show genuine respect for the cultures of Iran and Britain. We work in the fields of performing and visual arts, and support the growth of exchanges in areas such as museum studies, the history of architecture and conservation of monuments. We can assist in the establishment of links between institutions in Britain and Iran that wish to work to foster mutual understanding in the field of the arts. We can also advise on education and training opportunities within the arts in the UK. To learn more, contact our Arts Projects Manager
