Leo Rustandi (b. 1972) – IYCEY Music Award 2007 finalist

Leo is an event producer, music promoter, festival director, label executive, managing director, and band manager. Upon completing his business studies in Australia, he brought the original acid-funk band Humania onto critical and financial success. He went on to bigger stage by organizing the Jakarta Movement electronic music in 2005, which attracted 25.000 audiences over one night. His company, Nepathya, staged and promoted some of the biggest international acts to Indonesia, which included Craig David, Linkin Park, and Beyonce. He also manages Indonesia’s best selling soul band, Maliq and d’Essentials. He managed the British Council 2007 CreatiFest! live performances at the Blitzmegaplex, which featured Mocca, Rock And Roll Mafia, and Polyester Embassy. He is currently hard at work collaborating with the IYCEY Music finalists to expand his Jakarta Movement into a region wide electronic music festival.
