The challenges of living abroad, far from home, are the same the world over. Dealing with different values, lifestyles and point of views and of course the unpredictable weather! Thankfully I manage to cope with the UK because I happened to enjoy everything there. There is an adaptation process of course, but it happened quite quickly for me.

The main reason is that London, where I studied, is a place where art is respected, and culture is maintained and promoted. Museums, galleries and libraries, they all accommodated my interests and hobbies. Whatever your hobby, London takes good care of you. I could read any book I wanted or watch any movie, everything is there.

The UK education system was also a great experience for me. Everything is programmed methodically and efficiently. If some countries expect students to take two or three years to finish their Master Degree, then students in UK only need a whole year.

I strongly encourage young people to study in UK. It was one of the greatest experiences in my life.
