• We attract over 1 million viewers access the British Council websites for English learners and teachers around the world. Every year, over 1.6 million lesson plans are downloaded by English teachers and used in classrooms around the world by around 48 million learners.
• We teach over a million class hours of English to 325,000 learners in 53 countries.

Impact in Indonesia

• We attract over 20 million viewers a year to our Indonesian website.
• We welcome over 3,000 visitors at our annual Education UK Exhibition held in Indonesia.
• We connect up to 415 schools in Indonesia with the UK.
• We manage about a 1,000 Chevening Awards for Indonesian scholars since 1984, on behalf of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO).
• We record over 3 million English teachers to download the English Language Training modules through our Indonesian website.
• We support the GOI’s poverty alleviation efforts and train 600 community facilitators.
• We work with 64 young leaders (in East Asia and the UK) and over 34 partners in combating the Climate Change issue.
• We attract over 1000 applicants across Indonesia to our youth volunteer exchange programme this year.
• We facilitate 4 young Indonesian entrepreneurs in creative industry to join 270 others around the world in the International Young Creative Entrepreneur Award this year.
