IYCEY Fashion Finalists 2007

Andre Young Dipo (b.1980) is a managing director of www.formosabali.com. The e-commerce is based in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, and Salatiga. It trades in ethnic fashion and crafts produced by traditional artisans who were victims of the 2006 earthquake in Yogyakarta, Central Java.

Aulia Mauludi (b.1978) is designer and founder of Klampist Community, a local community that produces, retails and markets independent street-wear clothing labels in Surabaya. Since 2006, he designs, produces, and markets his own clothing line, “Mowl and Melle”.

Chitra Aziza Subijakto (b.1972) is a fashion stylist and creative buyer who is currently expanding her business through the Alun-alun Indonesia contemporary ethnic shop at Grand Indonesia, Jakarta. Chitra is also a well-known stylist for magazine, video clips, films, and advertising.

Deli Makmur Rahman (b.1974) is founder and managing director of FAME 74, a communication agency specialising in fashion events. His clients include global brands Louis Vuitton, Cartier, and Nokia as well as Indonesia’s top fashion designers. Deli and his company also published Jakarta Fashion Minute 07/08, claimed as Indonesia’s first fashion directory book.

Franky Wongkar (b.1980) studied jewellery design at St. Martin’s, London. He is now designer and owner of fW Franky Wongkar Jewellery, which produces custom-made unique and unusual pieces for select clients. Promoted as an “underground company”, it shuns sophisticated boutique at high-end malls.

Irsan (b.1972) is one of Indonesia’s hottest fashion designers today. He is creator of House of Irsan, a fashion house for ready-to-wear and made-to-order collections, in Kuta, Bali. One of his dreams is to publish a Fashion Photography Book in the future.

Made Febriandini (b.1975) is director of Nataraja Fine Batik workshop in Yogyakarta. Nataraja was Semi Finalists at the Lomba Rancangan dan Pembuatan Busana Para Pemimpin Negara ASEAN for the 9th ASEAN Summit (Design and Production Competition for the 9th Summit of ASEAN State Leaders) in Jakarta.

Olivy Aprilia Elginio (b.1982) is a freelance stylist and fashion designer for Indonesia’s top musicians and artists like the ever-popular duo, Ratu. Olivia is also doing illustrations for children’s books and for various local lifestyle and fashion magazines.

Pandji Pragiwaksono (b.1979) describes himself as a 3E: entrepreneur, entertainer, and educator. Beside his daily profession as a broadcaster of Hard Rock FM Jakarta, Pandji is also a co-owner of REF Basketball Clothing, in Bandung, whose motto is “Basketball is Fashion is Basketball”.

Tb. Fiki Chikara (b.1976) is owner-director of Airplane Systm, the second largest independent street-wear clothing company in Indonesia. The company distributes their products to over 80 cities across Indonesia. Fiki is also head of the Kreative Independent Clothing Kommunity (KICK), the 100-strong association of independent street wear companies, in Bandung.
