The British Council has been administering highly sought after UK courses through supported online learning in India at its Managed Learning Zone (MLZ).

Launched in 2002, the MLZ provides students in India an economical option of obtaining these qualifications through flexible supported online study with the option of completing part of the programmes on campus in the UK. One can choose from a range on supported e-Learning courses in management, computing and business studies.

The postgraduate programme(s) being offered at the MLZ can be studied from anywhere in the country.

The Managed Learning Zone (MLZ)

The MLZ strives to showcase the best of UK off campus education by promoting the concept of blended learning. It brings together students, otherwise isolated studying off campus, and builds a community of learners supported by various means including local facilitators and peer groups studies.

The MLZ houses 50 high specification networked computer terminals, with broadband Internet connectivity and audio/video conferencing facilities. Links to exhaustive library facilities and online tutor support are also provided. Access to the centre is timetabled according to the need of the programme and will provide opportunities for students to access the online study guide relevant to their course or to work on assignments.
