Indians come third in the world for number of candidates taking IELTS. This is just one statistic from a recent press conference. In other news, British Council launches a brand new, dedicated website for IELTS candidates in India.

 DELHI TEACHER TRAINING PROJECT

A tie up between the Directorate of Education (DoE) and British Council in Delhi aims to train 4000 teachers of English and a million students. Read this story and learn more about Project English.
 Fancy a grammar movie?
Grammar movies on LearnEnglish Professionals are short animated clips which explain grammar points in a simple and fun way. You'll need internet access to view them and do the exercises in class, but you can print out both the reference and practice activities. Handy!
