Zero Carbon City. Reacting to climate change - increasing awareness, reducing emmissions.

ZeroCarbonCity is a global campaign of the British Council to raise public awareness about climate change and energy challenges faced by the world. The NorthSouthEastWest photo exhibition touches upon the broad themes of physical environment, development, technology, food, health, urban life, economy and leadership with a focus on specific countries, for example the health theme focuses on India.

The campaign will visit over 60 countries with a variety of interactive events including debates, model making, lectures on climate change issues, Café Scientifique discussions, a quiz on environmental issues and the NorthSouthEastWest (NSEW) Photo Exhibition. You can also participate in the online slogan competition organised by the British Council, India. The online slogan competition ends on 31 January 2006.
