BRITISH CHEVENING/YOUNG INDIAN MANAGERS' PROGRAMME
Manager's Programme at the University of Leeds 2000-2001
"I benefited from the scholarship, both from a short as well as long-term perspective.

It enhanced my knowledge in many new areas of management and leadership. It's because of this newly acquired professional knowledge I am heading a hi-tech software company today.

I found the modules on scenario planning and business excellence very useful. I remember my team was  the winner of  'Bismarck', a game that simulates running a company for a year.

During my stay in the UK, I made new relationships, friends and got to appreciate western culture versus an oriental one.

The scholarship programme is amazingly 'power-packed' and useful. Learnings happen - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

It's been a year since I came back from the UK. Recently I was named Chief Executive Officer of a hi-tech software company… the scholarship had a major role in this achievement."
