(2) SIR RATAN TATA- UNIVERSITY OF EDINBURGH JOINT SCHOLARSHIP 2011

(1) The Sir Rata Tata Trust, Mumbai, offers one-year scholarships at the Masters’ level in the broad field of Development Studies, with special focus on Development Economics, Public Health or Science-Technology-Society (STS) Studies. Applicants can download the application form from the website and send it to the office of the Sir Ratan Tata Trust, Bombay House, Sir Homi Mody Street, Fort, Mumbai 400001 by 20 June 2011.

(2) The Sir Rata Tata Trust, Mumbai, in partnership with the University of Edinburgh offers a joint scholarship to students wishing to purse a Master's programme at the University in the broad field of Development Studies, with special focus on Development Economics, Public Health or Science-Technology-Society (STS) Studies. Applicants can download the application form from the website and send it to the office of the Sir Ratan Tata Trust, Bombay House, Sir Homi Mody Street, Fort, Mumbai 400001 by 20 June 2011. Brendish Family Foundation Scholarships at the Institute of Education (IOE), University of London: Open for applications

Brendish Family Foundation Scholarships

The Institute of Education (IOE), University of London is delighted to announce that it is offering two full Masters scholarships in health education, sponsored by the Brendish Family Foundation, for studies beginning in January 2012. The competition is open only to nationals of India with a background in health education or clinical practice.

The IOE is officially ranked as the number one university in the UK for education research and is one of the world’s leading schools of education and the social sciences. Although based in the heart of central London, the IOE’s mission is global, with health education placed at the heart of its work. Students awarded the prestigious Brendish scholarships will work with world leading academics in the fields of clinical and health education.  The Brendish scholarships are a unique opportunity for two Indian students to gain a prestigious University of London Masters degree and make a positive difference in the fields of clinical and health education in India.  

There is one award available for each of the following programmes:

MA Education, Health Promotion and International Development

MA Technology and Simulation in Clinical Practice

Students must begin their studies in January 2012. The scholarships cover the cost of tuition fees and provide a bursary for living expenses for one academic year.
