Scholarships managed by the British Council

British Chevening Scholarships - If you have an excellent academic record and are interested in attending a UK university, find out about the Chevening Scholarship programme. Applications closed for 2008.
The Dr Manmohan Singh Scholarships 2008 - For Doctoral Studies at St. John's College, University of Cambridge, UK. For research aspirants with outstanding academic and leadership credentials. Applications closed for 2008.

Commonwealth Scholarships and Fellowships 2008 - The Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship Plan 2008 has been announced. Click here to download more information. Scottish International Scholarships - The Scottish Government is offering scholarships for students from India during the academic year 2008-09. The Scholarships are available for taught masters courses in science & technology, Creative Industries and Finance at any Scottish Higher Education Institute. This is an internationally recognised qualification which can give candidates a chance to network with Scottish companies. They have the opportunity to live and work in Scotland two years after their study.
