British Council Library, Mumbai
The British Council Library, Mumbai is one of the city’s most popular information centres. We provide borrowing and reference facilities to members and their children by way of British books, CDs, DVDs, and videos and through a whole range of online services such as Emerald, KnowUK, Oxford Online and Infotrac. Our collections are continuously refreshed and updated to ensure that the best of British resources are constantly available.

The Library is open from Tuesday to Saturday,
10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Education UK
Indians students have been travelling to the UK for their higher and further studies for over a century. The Education UK unit of the British Council, Mumbai offers up-to-date, concise and comprehensive information on the studying and living in the UK.

Self access study materials, including prospectuses, videos, CD-Roms and a variety of online and offline information is provided at the Integrated Information Desk Tuesdays through Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Trained counsellors conduct twice-weekly seminars ‘Studying and Living in the UK’. Examinations Services
Professionals and students in West India can obtain an international qualification through the British Council. The Examinations Services Unit of the British Council conducts and manages popular exams such as the International English Language Testing System, IELTS, the Cambridge Skills and Career Awards, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, ACCA, the Cambridge Young Learners English tests, YLE and the Business English Certificate, BEC.

Registrations are taken Tuesdays through Fridays 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Education UK Exhibition
The Education UK Exhibition is coming to Mumbai this November.Students will get a chance to meet representatives from more than 60 UK institutions and will be able to speak to them at their respective stalls and attend seminars on various topics that will help them understand the admission procedure and requirements for studying in the UK.
Date: 14 and 15 November
Time: 2.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m.
Venue: Taj Land's End, Bandstand, Bandra(West)

Hard Rain: Our Heading Collision with Nature
Hard Rain is a photographic exhibition interpreting Bob Dylan’s prophetic song ‘A Hard Rain’s A-Gonna Fall’.The exhibition showcases exclusive pictures taken and compiled from around the globe by Mark Edwards (eminent British photographer, author and environmental campaigner), to bring alive our global problems and show how they are all connected by cause and effect
