Summer Reading Challenge 2011
Date: 9 April to 11 June

Group readings
Your child will get an opportunity to share stories, talk about the books they are reading and imagine their own stories. Each session will be for an hour.
Age Group: 4 to 7 years
Date: 9 April, 16 April, 7 May and 22 May

Age Group: 8 to 12 years
Date: 10 April, 17 April, 8 May and 15 May

Workshop at Valley School
Exploring Space from a Jungle: Get inspired with the natural forms found in the Valley and imagine 'Space' Create an imaginary composition on your canvas and model characters with clay.
Age Group: 8 to 12 years

Creative writing
Hop and Land! An interactive session of reading and story telling for the young adventurers.
Age Group: 4 to 7 years olds:

Fancy Dress
An opportunity for your child to express a character from one of your favourite books in the Reading Challenge programme.
Age Group: 4-7 years

Graduation
A day to celebrate your love for reading!
Participating children will be awarded with medals and certificates at a special ceremony.
Date: Saturday 11 June
Venue: Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium, Bangalore
Children will also get an opportunity to participate in some exciting activities at the planetarium.
