We are encouraging people to share their stories on Climate Change. Ten fellowships, five under each theme, worth Rs 10,000 each will be awarded to persons whose films demonstrate originality. People are encouraged to make short, impactful films of up to 2 minutes in length on either or both of the themes.
Eligibility
Applicants must be above the age of 18 and citizens of India.
Rules and Regulations:
1. The film can be made on any digital format (digital camera/ mobile camera etc).
2. The film must be of 2 minute duration (including credits and title).
3. The Film can be a moving clip or a story based on a montage of still images/ sketches/characters however it must be on the stated theme.
4. Film must be of broadcast quality on TV channels.
5. While submitting the film, please give due credit to the story source/ persons/institutions etc.
6. The film must not contain any obscene, unlawful or objectionable material. The film should not be discriminatory towards any religion, community or individual.
7. By submitting their films, filmmakers agree to British Council broadcasting their films during and after the competition, as and when required.
8. Films already accepted in another competition are not eligible.
9. Films must be original work and must not infringe upon the copyrights, trademarks, rights of privacy, publicity or other intellectual property or other rights of any person or entity. If the film contains any material or elements that are not owned by the entrant and/or which are subject to the rights of third parties, the entrant is responsible for obtaining, prior to the submission of the film.
