Get certified by Cambridge |
Get certified as an English teacher by taking one of Cambridge University’s internationally recognised English Language Teaching Qualifications:
The Teaching Knowledge Test (TKT) tests teachers’ knowledge of teaching English to speakers of other languages. It aims to increase teachers' confidence and enhance job prospects by focusing on the core teaching knowledge needed by teachers of English anywhere in the world.
The Cambridge Certificate of English Language Teaching to Speakers of Other Languages (CELTA) is an intensive four week course for teachers who want to develop their ability to teach English to adults. It’s the perfect combination of theory and practice. The British Council and many other international English language schools require their teachers to have the CELTA (or equivalent) so it can be the passport to a teaching job anywhere in the world.
