The British Council offers a wide range of UK qualifications in India including a variety of English language tests and exams awarded by the prestigious University of Cambridge ESOL. Business related exams
If you are a young professional or student and want to develop your skills for the workplace then try one of our business English exams. Gain a qualification which will help you get a job or a place on an MBA course by taking the Business English Certificate (BEC) or assess your level with the Business English Language Testing System (BULATS).
General English Tests
If you want to assess your overall proficiency in English then take a general English exam. Cambridge Main Suite Examinations have something for every age from 13+ to 60+ and for every level of English from beginner to advanced.

Teacher Support Programmes
If you are a teacher, principal or head of an institute and want to help prepare your students for any of our English tests then why don’t you register for our Teacher Support Programmes for Examinations. Launched in April 2006, these courses will give you all the information and skills you need to get you started.
