The British Council offers a wide range of UK English language qualifications designed to test students’ ability to communicate in English in a wide variety of contexts. These English Tests are designed for people of all ages who would like to develop their language skills and improve their prospects for a better future.
Interested? Why not register for one of our free introductory Cambridge Seminars and find out which qualification is best for you, your child, your school or institute?
What are the aims of the Seminars? It depends which Seminar you register for, but the overall aims are to:
- familiarise you with the exam format and content
- discuss the testing aims of the exam
- give you some useful tips and ideas for preparing your students or yourself for the exam
- highlight the language benefits of the particular exam
How long are they?
3 hours.
How are they different from your
Teacher Support Programmes? Teacher Support Programmes are designed for teachers who work at schools or institutes which offer Cambridge ESOL English tests. They are intensive 3-day teacher training programmes, which develop teachers’ ability to prepare students for the exam and in general.
Cambridge Seminars are an introduction to the different exams. They are designed for anyone who is interested in finding out more about these exams before they register, or for students who have already or are about to register for an exam and want some tips to help them pass!
When and where are they held? We hold monthly seminars at our British Council offices and British Libraries across India.
