English International - Business English Exercises
Attractive website with an extensive set of activities in grammar, vocabulary and reading with a Business English focus. Also contains a few games and a discussion and email list.
Linguarama Business English
Based on the online magazine Postscript, this is a well-organised site with an impressive collection of business English materials which are organised by themes but can also be selected in grammar, reading or vocabulary categories. A must for Business English students.
There is an increasing number of schools offering English teaching, or ways of helping students to learn. The ones listed below do not currently charge to join courses or use services, although this is likely to change.
English School
This website lists a large number of free resources to students, including dictionaries, quizzes etc. It is an online organisation offering some free email-based courses, but is not an accredited school.
English Club
A range of exercises and activities, and some awful jokes. Some business material. Written by English teachers, but it has an amateur feel to it, and promises much more than it delivers.
Peak
In addition to the usual activities, there are a couple of games: HangMan and "Mortal Grammar". Offers core courses at three levels, plus listening courses and a placement test. |
