British Council India
Corporate Training
Courses for Employees

As UK consultants living and working in India we understand the expectations of UK customers and the challenges faced by South Asian customer representatives. We have designed a suite of courses which will make a real difference to your customer satisfaction scorecard.

Our most popular courses include:

Intercultural Communication
UK Culture
International English
Understanding your UK customer
Speaking Clearly
Language Skills for Customer Service

We can also work with you to tailor a training programme to meet the specific needs of your employees.

We offer a range of training programmes which can be delivered to new hires during their initial training period.  We can also deliver the training programmes to current employees as part of their ongoing professional development programme.

In all of our courses we place great emphasis on learner centred training; trainees are encouraged to interact and participate fully in the training room.  We also encourage participants to take greater responsibility for their own learning by promoting self-reflection and action planning for ongoing development.

“As the Legal and Corporate function of Microsoft India, we are expected to write correct and effective English with a minimum of mistakes and economy of words. Some members of my team did an English Writing course with the British Council. They benefited greatly from this course and their ability to write effective yet simple English has increased significantly. I’d strongly recommend the British Council’s tailored corporate training programme.”

Rakesh Bakshi, Director, Legal and Corporate Affairs, Microsoft India.

We also offer a range of shorter Professional Training Workshops
