The MLZ strives to showcase the best of UK off campus education by promoting the concept of blended learning. It brings together students, otherwise isolated studying off campus, and builds a community of learners supported by various means including local facilitators and peer groups studies.
The MLZ houses 50 high specification networked computer terminals, with broadband Internet connectivity and audio/video conferencing facilities. Links to exhaustive library facilities and online tutor support are also provided. Access to the centre is timetabled according to the need of the programme and will provide opportunities for students to access the online study guide relevant to their course or to work on assignments.
