What is it?

This is an 18 hour course which is run over 3 days.
Each day will include 6 hours tuition and will be divided into the following sessions:

	Developing speaking skills			Developing reading skills
	Developing listening skills			Developing writing skills
	The IELTS exam			Following instructions
	Exam strategies			Evaluating resources
	Teaching exam classes			Question and answer session

On this workshop you will:

• develop your skills in teaching speaking, listening, writing and reading
• find out the latest up to date teaching materials and activities for preparing students for the IELTS examination
• learn how to effectively prepare students for the exam using a variety of different strategies
• have the opportunity to share your knowledge and skills with other professionals in your field
• be provided with professionally developed materials which cater to your needs

On this workshop you will not:

• find out or discuss the IELTS marking criteria as this information is strictly confidential
• discuss the merits of the IELTS exam - the exam has been written by trained experts and we have no remit to change the exam

**All participants who complete this training will be given a certificate of attendance.

Am I eligible?

All prospective participants must successfully complete a British Council pre-course task, which includes a written placement test to ensure all participants have a minimum level of English language awareness. To take a test, contact us to make an appointment.

The course fee is Rs 12,000 which must be paid in full one week before the start of the course.

Final confirmation of course dates will be made only 2 weeks before the advertised course dates. Participants are advised NOT to make any travel arrangements until they have had WRITTEN confirmation from us that the course dates are confirmed.
