Un-convention links fifteen of the most influential taste-makers in the UK and connects them with grass roots indie entrepreneurs, musicians and fans.
The project starts with the No Agenda tour, with showcases and networking in Bangalore, Delhi, Kolkata and Shillong, before the delegates share their insights at Un-convention Mumbai – a grass roots conference of the UK and Indian independent music industries.
Follow the progress of the tour and the conference on the special site at www.unconvention.in
Dubber and Jez who are members of the Interactive Cultures Research Unit and are behind the Music As Culture project. They were in India for Un-Convention Mumbai, and spent a week or so travelling the country first, meeting all sorts of interesting people and figuring out just how the music industries work in India.
On the blog you'll meet the people involved in Un-Convention, see the places they went to - and hopefully learn some of the things they've learned along the way.
