The programme from 2009-2012 to seed and support collaborative networks between the UK and India has been hugely successful, leading to hundreds of new relationships and dozens of new works.

The British Council will continue to build on the relationships and successes created by Connections through Culture programme, working both with external partners to curate networking projects in targeted sectors; and arts organisations on the development and showcasing of a small number of significant UK-India collaborative arts projects each year.

We have a strong preference to support projects where the British Council is involved as a partner from an early stage.
