Test your child's English with Cambridge exams

If you want to test and develop your child's English using the latest learning methods, our Cambridge ESOL courses and tests could be just what you need.

What are Cambridge Young Learner English Tests?
Cambridge Young Learner Tests are fun and motivating for children. At the same time, they give parents an accurate assessment of their child’s English language skills.

Why choose Cambridge Young Learner English Tests?
The tests are designed to encourage young learners through a special marking system and learning style. They test how well your child uses English to communicate by testing the four language skills: listening, reading, writing and speaking. There is no pass/fail result. All children receive a certificate indicating how well they have done in each skill area.

Who are Cambridge Young Learner Tests for?
Cambridge Young Learner Tests are for children aged between seven and twelve. There are three different levels: Starters, Movers and Flyers and we will match your child to the suitable level depending on their age and English language level. For children over twelve we offer Cambridge English to Speakers of Other Language (ESOL) exams.

When and whereare the tests available?
Cambridge Young Learner Tests run throughout the year, on demand., at our centre. Groups of more than ten candidates can choose their own test date (subject to examiner availability); although we will need you to confirm your chosen date eight weeks in advance.

If you would like more information on Cambridge ESOL courses and exams for young learners, you can visit their website. You can also contact our centre for more infomation on course/exam dates.
