If we want our writing to influence our audience - to make them think, feel, or behave in a particular way - we have to use a persuasive style.
Persuasion
Campaign area
The purpose of the campaign area is to promote one of the four new home page campaign themes, your own local campaign or feature a poll on your home page.
Home page brand campaigns
72 animations will be made available over the next few months for use in the campaign area.  The campaigns fall into one of four campaign themes.  Find out more about the campaigns and how to use them.
Local campaign
You can develop your own campaigns for use in the campaign area.  These can either be a static image or a Flash animation that link to an internal or external link.  See the images sizes page for standards for the campaign area.
Poll
The campaign area can also contain a poll.  Find out how to create polls on the Obtree support site.
